It is funny you said that. I posted another carry-on luggage deal for Swissgear at the same time https://slickdeals.net/f/15693133-target-has-swissgear-checklite-20-softside-carry-on-suitcase-free-shipping-69-99?v=1 - which would be my personal choice. But it was voted down. Although Swissgear is 2.8x more expensive, I am sure it will last more than 2.8x longer than this one. It is a very educational experience by observing consumer reaction to price.

This is disposable luggage... Spend some more money and it will last WAY LONGER. This would last 1 round-trip, MAYBE with the wear and tear I give my carryons

I didn't see that, but for luggage I stick to Samsonite, and not the cheap line... Swiss Gear will last at least long enough to cover the difference in price for sure. I used a Swiss Gear small roller for work for over 5yrs, it's still fine, just got old.
Never buy cheap luggage.

perfect for my 8 year old. upgrading from princess Sophia. I have an ebags set from 12 years ago that is hardsided and has been amazing. wheels are so super smooth... lifetime warranty. the Swiss gear at least had a 10 year. the skyline a 5 year, but who knows if they're legit enough to honor that even

Yep, something from Costco or even TJ Maxx/ Marshal's has pretty good deals on name brands.

I've given up on wheeled luggage. I just use a cheap duffel, and a magna cart

It all depends on what you're doing with it. Packing a kid in a car off to summer camp, fine. Business traveler regret bad wheels and broken zippers

I will also say to pass on this unless you travel like once a year and are gentle on your luggage. Costco has a nice Ricardo spinner at stores now for $65 that will last you many times longer.

This brand won't even last one flight. I bought the Black Friday special, a 6 piece set for $60. One piece fell apart on my flight to Florida and the second bag fell apart on the way home. These might be ok if you're traveling by car but they won't stand up to the rigors of baggage handlers at an airport. I would not recommend them. On the bright side, Target did refund my money.

Carryon is probably fine if you don't fully stuff the suitcase. But the real risk with budget luggage is the zipper and seams bursting, if they break or get stuck, you better hope you have some duct tape to keep it close to get where you're going.
