I bought one a few months back on Amazon. They're $250 on Amazon now. They work great. Mine is very quiet.

Can anyone confirm it does actually have a pump to drain? The midea website makes it seem like it can be hooked up to a hose, but has no pump. I need one with the built in pump....

I bought one under the assumption it did and can let you know when it gets here next week. At least with Costco it will be simple to return it if not.

I remember the days (3-4 years ago?) when I bought a Whirlpool 70pint from Costco.com for $160 shipped. How the times have changed.

The cosco model is MAD50PS1QWT.

They also sell a MAD50S1QWT with no pump.

Is the shape of this mainly for portability? Is it really needed if I plan to set it and forget it?
