I own three of these Charge 3 speakers. Two of them I bought years ago, and one I bought three months ago. Had to jump through some hoops updating the firmware on the new one so that it now works with Connect + and the other two speakers.

It has a microphone to let you take calls on bluetooth as a speaker phone. I believe with charge 4 they dropped the microphone from it. So its nice if you wanted to take a call while you were playing it or to just talk while doing dishes or cooking ect.

Can't remember, but feels like this is the price I paid ~ 3 years ago.
