I was just given a rocket notepad. Very interesting concept. I did hear that the pens are not allowed to be in High temperatures so that's the one downside especially since I live in Southern California.

had one of these but stopped using it pretty quickly. the Pilot Frixion erasable pen was the cool part. I just kept buying those and using them on regular paper.

I never heard of this before. It is expensive erasable paper, right? What is wrong with cheap non-erasable paper?

The paper is more like a white board…. You clean a page with a spritz of water and microfiber cloth.

The neat thing is that the ink drys fairly quick and it doesn't smudge if you run your hand across it.

With regular paper, I don't think you can keep reusing the paper over again even with the erasable pen. It would not be very convenient. However, if you want to keep your notes and have the ability to erase and make minor corrections, the pen paired with paper would work fine. Just my opinion.

This book scans your notes and uploads them to your computer etc.

I have these and wanted to use them in the classroom for my students but the handwriting recognition is broken at least on my iphone. Love the idea just softwrae was wonky for me, I find using ios stock notes easier for capturing class notes

This looks like an interesting product. I know that, on the Rocketbook web site, they sell a pack with sheets of differing layouts (e.g. one sheet is dotted, one sheet is lined, one sheet is formatted as a weekly template, etc.).

I think it might be called the Rocketbook Orbit or something like that. Has anyone seen any sales on that?

Also, supposedly Walmart exclusively sells Rocketbooks with half-lined and half-grid dotted pages.

With OCR becoming so common and more sophisticated, I look forward to seeing all sorts of cool hybrid digital writing platforms.

Just take a picture of note with your phone.... You can use Google translate or probably the lens app to pull the OCR

Second the high temperatures. I love the journals but had to keep them to strictly at home because when I took them for class/study sessions I'd eventually accidentally leave them in my car and have them quit working due to texas heat turning car into an oven
