This is pretty different, it's much more ingredient conscious, so if you're on a restrictive diet it's great. We almost only buy these now, favorite pancake brand. Kind of crepe'y but great. Didn't find them grainy at all like the above comment.

I ordered this deal. It arrived today, so I decided to make it for dinner. I use almond flour a lot, and these are definitely grainy. However, that didn't bother me. What was frustrating is that they never seemed to finish cooking. I followed the instructions and made them thin. No matter how long I cooked them, they were still mush in the middle. Even though the instructions said flip once, I put them back in the pan, flipped them repeatedly, and even mashed them down.
10 out of 10 would NOT recommend these. I would not purchase again. For the carb count, I may as well make homemade pancakes.

I think that user just meant that making pancakes from scratch isn't really harder than mix. That's true for flour anyhow. I have no idea what paleo leavening to use or how much of this should be coconut, almond, or cassava flour.

But I'm also adding an egg to mine, so I'm not the right person to ask about Paleo.

i am curious what is a "realistic" meal size for these? It says 2 pancakes or 35g (10 servings per bag) but that seems pretty small for an adult male. is getting 5 servings from a bag more realistic?
