Can confirm. I'm a field rep for a company that works exclusively on Dell systems. Avoid the Inspiron and Vostro if possible.
Avoid Dell and this line. Assembling was not good. Had whole bunch of isssue, had to buy prosupport to get dell's attention. Then in the end returned it after 3 months.

Thanks for trying. I'm talking 250-nits 45% NTSC (office PC class) vs. 300-nits 100% sRGB (premium). The machine's datasheet shows both, but they never say what the PC for sale actually has.

Got in on it this time around, thanks op. First time newsletter signup gets you a slightly better deal (10% off > $50 off).

This Link is to a the same laptop from last deal but with half the drive space

Actually it does have a GPU but it is not dedicated and uses shared system memory. In essence, PurpleSquirrel750 is correct it is not a good system for gaming.

The build on these Inspirons is just so bad. I purchased one and returned it. Looking at the side profile I could see the backlight from the keyboard coming through the ports. It made me feel like those parts could go bad so fast.

Dell's customer support in general has gone totally downhill since they farmed it out of the USA. Tech support barely speak English and are very limited in their ability to help, even with set-up and file transfer from another computer.

I got the G15 version with the Ryzen and RTX 3050 for less than this (though with less ram and smaller SSD) and it's been great.
