Parent company enjoys higher profits from not having to pay contractors (delivery) a reasonable wage.
People defend the practice because the drivers need the money (true). However, the best way to get these drivers paid reasonably would be to stop tipping them entirely, forcing the company to go under from mass quitting, or improve wages. But that wont happen because to many it feels wrong to not tip.

Out of curiosity, anyone ever shuck these?
I have streamed directly off this drive and it's performed fine.
MDD - HGST Ultrastar 6TB 7200RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6Gb/s 3.5-inch Enterprise Hard Drive - HUS726060ALE611 (for RAID, NAS, Desktop PC, Surveillance Storage) - 5 Year Warranty (Renewed) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09K3LZ...UTF8&
Yes, it's a used drive. But it's a used much better quality drive which also is backed by an Amazon warranty for 5 years (these Seagate have a 1yr last I checked).
I've had a couple of these Seagate hubs die in me in a storage pool. Admittedly, it was after 6 years, but my point is that why pay for a lower initial quality product with less warranty if you are just going to shuck?
Now, if you need a case, that's different. But I have cases galore from shucks in the past. And perhaps you do too.
EDIT: I feel like these were in AWS servers for 3 years.

Even linking the Bank Account details with the Cash App did not help.

EDIT: I also just now copied over 250GB from the same WD ext drive, but from an exFAT partition to the Seagate--which I formatted as HFS+ in Mac. It took about 70 min, so this was slower--about 60MB/s.
