A leap forward in professional-quality aerial imaging
Flagship drone that offers a dual-camera setup in a 3-axis gimbal.
Features a 20MP wide-angle camera with 4/3" CMOS from legendary camera maker Hasselblad and a 12MP telephoto with 1/2" CMOS, 4K video, and 28x hybrid zoom.
Utilize the telephoto in Explore Mode to scout locations, but its primary function is to be used in conjunction with the wide-angle Hasselblad, transitioning between the two for truly dynamic, cinematic results.
Bought one this afternoon. Used all my credits from trading in systems last year.
I personally went with the Air 2S earlier today - I don't think I can justify a $1,000 difference between the two personally. That said, this is a great price for the drone.

Yea, I feel the same way as a regular consumer (if I can't write it off as equipment for profession). The object avoidance isn't up to skydio level either. And it's wise to get a fly more combo. Drones have longer batteries now but I was charging in between each shoot in the car when I was on vacation with my old mavic.

I went back and forth for a few hours on which one. If the smart controller worked better id have bought that deal. I had 800 in credits so it wasn't that bad. Plus I'll probably need the extra sensors 🤣

I wonder how much one has to use it to become a tax write-off? I do video production here (https://www.youtube.com/c/slickdeals) but also have sold multiple clips I have on stock sites.

That totally qualifies. If SD is giving you a 1099-NEC or any contractor tax form write the whole thing off. They (IRS) will never ever check anything like a flight log in a million years to find out you flew here or there for personal. Put it on your taxes as a depreciating asset and spread it out over a few years.
I'm no tax expert, but just going by what I've personally experienced. I use mine 99% for business though. Obviously ask a tax expert any questions.
Can I use this to lock down my neighborhood like they're doing in China?
You'd need the enterprise version that supports the speaker and/or light attachment. That would be the best way to keep tabs on the dissenting neighbors.
I would jump on this if mavic 3 didn't have GPS issues.
I just watched a couple videos on the GPS issues and it looks like a mess. Going to a B&H or similar and reviews are half five star and half 1 star. Not reassuring for a $$$$ drone. DJI says they have a firmware fix coming in a month or two, but sounds like a hardware issue. Shame because it looks sweet.

What we percentage is used for business, that's what you write off.

You mean what percentage you say you use for business.
