Nice, been waiting for the price to come down. Apparently the hardware is great for the price but you may need to be tripping on some nostalgia shrooms to really want to play these games over anything else 8-bit or newer.

It's a dead platform. However, at it's heart it's a decent little mini pc perfect for emulation, much more powerful than a Raspberry Pi or any other single board pc in the $100 or less range.

I'd take this over the Atgames Legend anyday.

This probably sucks badly as a console. But it is also a mini PC and you will have to pay a lot more for a mini pc with similar specs. I was debating if I want to get one at 250 when microcenter had it at that price (even at 250, it is a good price for a mini PC).
Now the price is no brainer. I got two to tinker with. Thanks for sharing OP!

Does it have the community support the Legends does? CoinopsX and the sauce makes it really easy, and if this had a similar level of support I'd definitely grab one.

I'd highly recommend giving this a watch if you're considering this. You can get a lot more out of this system with a few upgrades. At this price it makes it very tempting to have a dedicated powerful(ish) emulation box.

Same here, debated getting at Microcenter until it sold out. Glad I waited.

I have gotten every mini console release, so felt compelled to get this one too just to be a completist.

This is one of those things that seemed like a bad idea from announcement on. You just knew this would tank, the only question was if it took over or under a year from release.

I am old enough to have had an original Atari VCS (before it was called the 2600) as a kid and I never even thought about buying this thing.
