It's great for light duty. I blew one out trying to fill a trailer tire to 65 psi. Also blew out the pistol inflator. Ryobi's warranty was no hassle though. I use them mainly now on the atv's and lawn tractor. For that they are perfect.

I have this and it works good for both functions with every adapter type needed. I got it for cheaper though from a hack but this one comes with a battery

Any way to get a cheap charger? I want to get this for my mom but she doesn't have a Ryobi ecosystem (yet...)
I was thinking of getting a tool/battery/charger deal and then picking this up bare tool, but I'm not having any luck. TIA

Mine just died, throwing an ERR code. Tried all the resets, took battery out for few days, no luck. Need to call it in for warranty claim.

Love mine like a foreign-exchange family member, mainly use it for truck and van tires throughout the year. I have some Ryobi batteries at home and keep a couple at work though so I keep it under the back seat and use it a lot. If it were a home-only thing I might only use it 3-4 times a year. I'll go around on lunch break and check the guys' tires and fill em up for em. I'll get through 4-5 cars/trucks with an old 2 ah battery.
