I must be searching wrong, because when I put in several things like Lord of the Rings or Hobbit or Middle Earth, I don't see a $30 one posted. Please let me know here that is or provide link.

I did see someone did post deal for Google Paly though for the $35 but not the other services.

Yours is not a duplicate. Someone will prefer buying from google store or iTunes than the Fanflix.

So… lord of the rings shows 4K on iTunes but Hobbit shows in HD only. Is it just me?

How are these digital compare with the 4k blu-ray? It comes with Dolby Atmos track? Wander if these are the same digital that include with the Disc. 🤔

Even if there's an Atmos track, the bitrate will be nowhere near as high as a 4k Blu ray disc

It means you own Hobbit movie(s) in HD from other streaming services. You'll need to buy the individual movies or the trilogy from iTunes directly and it'll show up as 4k. You might also need to buy it as gift then redeem the code if you don't see purchase option.

Not sure why you got a downvote for telling the truth. If you want uncompressed audio, a physical copy is the only option.
