i think powder Gatorade tastes better than bottle. Plus its made with real sugar not HFC and preservatives. Just store the container in the freezer to keep it fresh. I'm drinking some Orange Gatorade right now after a workout. Yummm.

I've never used the powder. If I properly follow directions, will this lemon-lime drink made from powder taste the same as the lemon-lime bottle might?

Yes, I can verify that Glacier Freeze is pretty accurate if you mix it right. There's a ratio scale on the side of the container.

I cant attest to the lemon lime flavor, but the glacier freeze and cherry taste pretty much just like the bottle. I often make a 2 quart pitcher and leave in the fridge.

I like the convenience of this, but my experience with most powder drinks (this included) is that they are just not the same. Its like if you add something like nesquick chocolate powder to milk... It just doesn't have the same syrupy thickness. I have heard of people boiling water and adding the powder, and so getting it to mix better that way.... But I imagine most people couldn't be bothered with the prep of that. Would also need to leave it to cool for a while.

Also, sad to see this nearly being $10. Didn't feel like too long ago that I saw it for maybe 7 or 8 something

I like the powders because I can adjust the electrolyte levels to my wants. And I can adjust the flavors with those true lemon powders

Way better for the environment because you aren't using a ton of plastic bottles, most of which don't get recycled (no matter what propaganda the plastic companies tell us.)
