Can someone tell me what this does? We are about to get a Dog. He's coming as soon as tomorrow or wednesday.

We had a cat, he was old, and passed away. We did a liquid thing on his back for fleas.

What does this collar do? We have a collar for our leash. Does he wear two collors or this instead? Does it have sme chemical to repel fleas and ticks? Help appreciated.

Also, this dog is tiny. Like 5 lb when we get him. Is there one for tiny dogs?

According to the description on the Chewy website, this is for dogs older than 7 weeks and over 18 lbs which rules it out for you

Be very careful where you buy Seresto collars. There are some very good fakes which are sold as authentic and pets are dying. I use Seresto myself but only buy from an authorized retailer.

Just put one on my korthals griff last night, after I had pulled 20 dog ticks off. Bought from local fleet farm chain. Saw one tick already jettisoned her this morning says it takes 48 for full tick control. Asked other wirehaired NAVDHA handlers (money not much concern when it comes to their dogs) use this collar, so that is good enough for me, we run them in the worst areas for ticks, along water, in low spots and dense trees. Just my 2 cents but I am inexperienced just asking the experienced handles what do they use.
