Thank you but I bought it at Dell main website with Code: 50OFF699 using top Cash back: saved 4.20% As well as ChaseFreedom: Flexsaved 5% and Dell Website:they give 30 dollar rewards for being Dell Advantage Rewards
Wanted to get this back when it was $700 @Dell.com. Ultimately decided against it due to poor screen. Since I'm not in a rush, my current plan is to wait for this[tomshardware.com] to be released around June. It's got a substantially better screen and comes with a much better processor, 12500H. In Geekbench it's roughly on par with a desktop 12700 (non-K). Its MSRP is going to be $900 but I'm expecting a sale to drop that to $700-$750. I will pay $900 though if there's a sale on the same model but with a 3060.
I am confused about the display that is supposed to be good in these kind of laptops. Should I look for a 4k display with more nits? What is the criteria for a good display assuming the other boxes like processor, ram and graphics card are ticked? Thanks

4K displays in gaming laptops are a thing of the past. Look at brightness and response times. Evetything else is mostly standard (Full HD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate or more). The panel in question has a brightness of 250 nits and around 23ms GtG response time, which is terrible and on par with old 60Hz panels. You want 12-15ms max(which is reasonable at this price range). Ideally 8ms, but that's gonna be a challenge with other specs at this level (unless you're willing to go all the way up to a grand and still have a 3050Ti).
The reported battery life of the Ryzen G15 really has me interested, but this one doesn't come with the necessary 86wh battery. Holding out for a deal on one with the larger battery.
