I bought these last time they were on sale around $50 and only an empty envelope showed up, they refused to send me another and gave me a refund. I think they were a couple bucks cheaper last time but I'll try again at this price.

I've always used them for automotive work but imagine they've got a while plethora of uses for gripping things in tight spaces.

Same as another commenter, I've used in automotive work like when I drop a bolt into a tight place. But sometimes being able to grip something through a tight space from another angle without needing to shove your hand and body into a weird angle to do some work is priceless.

$50 is a lot of money for "might need" and when I've used them I just move on but if I try to imagine using something else when I need them, nothing compares from my experience. Now that I've got my own place and don't have them I've been keeping my eyes out for these.
