Brickseek shows inventory is available. But in Walmart app it shows there is no inventory. Does this mean the TV sold out ?

Went to my local Walmart because brickseek showed they had stock. Turns out they didn't…but had a 65" display unit that looked horrible in my opinion. Glad they didn't have any because I just need a cheap TV for a short period of time and might had pulled the trigger. After doing some more research will probably will get the Hisense U6GR from Costco for a little more. Much better tv even though it's about $100 more expensive.

I have found this one in store as well, for the price, but I am leaning towards the 58" Hisense instead for a little more.

Can anyone sell me on the LG? 🤣

Not gonna sell you but the LG IPS/ADS displays always look way better to my eyes then all the BUDGET VA panels when I see them in Target, Walmart and Costco. The budget VA panels look hazy or foggy to me when looking at them side by side next to an IPS panel. Things do change a little when viewed in a dark room instead of a bright store but not as much as some reviewers would lead you to believe. I ended up choosing an LGUP7000 over a Sammy Q60A after viewing them side by side for 4 days.

It appears the other sizes of these are also being clearanced at some stores. I ran across a 75" version at a local Walmart marked down to $558 and then 20% off that since it was the display model so I got it for $441.

This or the 55" JVC QLED from recent deal:

https://slickdeals.net/f/15749653-jvc-55-class-4k-uhd-qled-roku-smart-tv-quantum-series-248?page=9#comments

I ended up with the 50" JVC and really like the viewing angles.... not sure If I want to go down this path to find I don't like the LG as much.

edit: accidently said OLED; meant QLED

I have one of these. It's not a good TV. You WILL get clouding in the corners. It also has terrible contrast and black uniformity, due to being an IPS panel. It's extremely noticeable when the camera pans left or right. You see strips that look darker than others.

The peak brightness is awful. There are scenes in some movies where you won't be able to see anything that's going on. That's not an exaggeration. I was watching The Lost World: Jurassic Park, in HDR, and there's a scene where you can just kind of faintly see what's going on. Granted I've only run into that issue on 2 or 3 movies, but I shouldn't have had that issue whatsoever.

Also, there's a good chance the wifi receiver will go out on you. It happened to me, and I looked it up and it's a very widely known problem. The TV will stop connecting to wireless and it will tell you that you turned off the TV's wifi and to turn it back on, but no such option exists. You have to open the TV up and blow out the dust and make sure it's plugged in tightly. It actually gets loose and needs to be pushed back in. It's so stupid.

If you've never owned a 4K TV and just want something cheap, then this will be fine for you, but if you have experience with decent 4K TVs, stay the hell away from this. I bought it full price, and it was so not worth it. LG's OLED TV's are the best on the market, but their standard LED TV's are pure garbage.

Saw 6 of these at my store today as I was browsing. Interesting price but the picture quality looked blah. Blacks looked gray. TCL next to it looked better.

I hate the remote on UP7000. I always hit the wrong Arrow and Select buttons. Also, since last week whenever I turn on my TV, there is always a LG's WebOS overlay on top of my Amazon Fire TV screen (over HDMI). So annoying. I think I am going to return today, bought it last Tuesday ish
