I have 820 credit score and got denied preapproval. Is it worth actually applying?

I was denied too when I did the pre-approval for VX. I did the general pre-approval yesterday and it showed a bunch of options but not VX. I did the "Apply Now" for VX anyway taking a chance (and kinda know that it would be approved). Was approved instantly, asked me to upload DL for the ID check even though I have multiple accounts with them. My credit score is in the same ball-park as yours. If you know this is the card you want, and don't mind a hard inquiry, go for it.

you can use it inmediately. You can get a virtual card on the app and start using it and you should have access to capital one travel now. My $300 travel credit appeared about an hour after applying

Priority passes cards expire at your renewal month, not the first of the year.

Also, they downgraded so they dont work at airport resturants anymore, just lounges

Thank you. The option to add a Virtual card wasn't available for me immediately. Just checked, it's available now. Card arriving today.

Where do you see the $300 Travel credit ? Only thing I see if a tracker for the 75K bonus miles.

Edit: I found the "My travel credit & offers" section after clicking on "Book a travel". It says $0.00 available. Does it come after activating the physical/virtual card ?
