Bigger bonuses. Then once it's time to renew, you downgrade to a no annual fee card.

No matter whatever card you get from them, Cap One is wasted credit inquiries. They like to pull ALL three bureaus. Most other cards only pull one. Nothing Cap One offers is worth 3 inquires on your reports.
Cancel after one year. So effectively a $650 bonus.

Don't waste your time applying for this one! Wasted my credit reports and on a flip side Chase sapphire approved me right away. You know which one to apply for
I have the VX card, so I've used the Capital One Travel site to book a vacation before. Their Travel site is using Hopper for pricing. I usually also look at Google Flights to compare prices. For the most part, prices are higher max $10 per ticket on Capital One Travel, usually less of a difference. However, you can call in and have your ticket price matched to another site's price within 10 days of purchase. It's actually really painless to price match.
The PM is now paid out as a travel credit that can only be used in the C1 portal, so not usable until you take another trip.
Alternatively, is it possible to book a room through the portal and then cancel the room after the statement credit posts? I remember seeing somewhere that this was a hack to use the $300 credit without actually booking any travel.
My problem is that I can't use the portal because of corporate restrictions.

So I ended up doing this, instead of booking a RT flight, book the OW flight that you want to PM with the discount first, then PM, then book the other flight with the credit. Of course, this is assuming that the discount is from only one end of the flight not both, and that the RT and booking them individually are about the same price.

[a NON-business card with that bonus!]
Chase Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card has no annual fee plus bigger bonus.
Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card has also no annual fee plus bigger bonus
If lounge is not important, should I apply for Venture X or Venture? Bonus seems same.
Just off the top of my head you get the $300 travel credit every year and 10,000 anniversary points every year as well with the Venture X. I just see it as an investment in travel which I'll use anyway and those two perks alone basically negate the $395 a year fee. So the lounges and everything else is a nice plus even tho I don't use them allot.

You mean within 24 hrs? Just called today about a hotel I booked 3 days ago and they wouldn't price match for me

TIL, there's a lot of poor people on here.
If you have any travel expenses, the points can be redeemed at 1.0 cent per point to offset those purchases.

Nice trolling though

Hmm, you're right. For some reason, I thought it was 10 days, but I just looked it up now. It's 24 hours.
Yeah I was very disappointed to find that out earlier. But hey, now we know.
