Bigger bonuses. Then once it's time to renew, you downgrade to a no annual fee card.

No matter whatever card you get from them, Cap One is wasted credit inquiries. They like to pull ALL three bureaus. Most other cards only pull one. Nothing Cap One offers is worth 3 inquires on your reports.
Cancel after one year. So effectively a $650 bonus.
Show me a no annual fee card with a ~$650 bonus... I'll wait.

I don't think it matters as long as you have income
Trying to live off of my savings for the next year and a half until I get to my max SS payment. So technically, I don't have and income stream at the moment.

Not sure what to do in that situation, you definitely don't want a 0 in the income box
Will this card be great for Family of 5? We usually travel twice a year with domestic airline and hotel. Also twice driving with hotel. Will this give benefit with booking hotels long term?

They ask for household income..Nobody earns anything in your household?
sorry , moved not so long ago to USA, have SSN but dont have income here, just in my country, my score its 800, do you think its possible? thank you and sorry about my post , in my country we don't have score like here
I used the points for making flight reservation, and unfortunately we had to cancel the reservation. Called Capitol One for the cancellation of flight ticket (we called them with in 24 hrs) , but they are only able to give the air line credit. I am stuck with $2500 in airline credit which I need to use in 12 months.

With the right deal that could be a round-trip business class deal. Or, for example, I'm flying 2 people to Japan RT (economy) for just over that.
