Capital One is offering a 75,000 mile bonus after you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. There is $95 annual fee.

existing Venture X holder, 815 credit score, denied for this card. hate cape one. Going to downgrade the X to free one now, especially since they changed the structure of the travel credit. screw them.

    It used to be a reimbursement for $300 charges earlier. Now it is a credit that you have to use.

    I don't think there is a $100K referral bonus out there at this time. The bonus is the same, regardless of who refers you.

    I have at least 4 Chase cards and now two Cap1 cards and I've gotten a bonus on all of them. Why just one or the other?

    They don't all have fees but I downgrade the ones that do.

    Edit: For instance I have the Cap1 Spark cash select business card that gives me 75k bonus points with the $6k spend requirement and there is no AF.

    With the Venture, when redeeming for cash or statement credit you won't get the full value from your points. I think you'll get half. Otoh, if have travel expenses, you can use points to get reimbursed for those at full value.


    With the C1 Spark Business card you can redeem for cash or statement credit at full value.

    If you have both, you can move points from one to another.

    I applied a year back and got rejected for this though i was offered some other capital one card without sign up offer. I have 800+ score but i have opened few cards in last 3-4 years. Nothing last year though (couple of new amex account as authorised user). when i tried pre approval it said capital one cannot pre approval at this time. Should i try to apply for this? or if pre approval didn't work then no point?

    FYI you need the Venture X card to access the well-reviewed Capital One Lounges for "free." The offer on that high free card is only 70k right now.
