Capital One is offering a 75,000 mile bonus after you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. There is $95 annual fee.

I closed this card about a year ago, am I eligible to apply again for joining bonus?

    My wife and I have 100k each. Not sure where to use. Convert to cash is not good. The best I see is to pay the travel purchase. Is any travel site eligible such as scholartrip . Com site?

    I believe Capital One sends the card via Fedex. I applied on a Friday and got the card by Monday. I got the Venture X, though. The regular Venture might be sent via USPS.

    I think Capital One just implemented a 48 month rule similar to Chase. In other words, you can only get the bonus every 4 years.

    If you don't mind the temporary credit score dip, there's no harm. Just make sure you don't need to do any extra spending in order to hit the SUB's.

    Your score will likely drop by 20-40 points for a few months, but it will likely recover to an even higher score because of your higher credit availability, if you use the cards responsibly.

    Check directly with Chase on that. I used mine for American Air tickets.

    I did the same thing only with the venture and the spark business. I may add the Venture X if I decide the annual fee will be feasible for me.

    I am considering doing the same thing, but in reverse. The problem is that the Cap One preapproval tool only shows me secured cards now. I'm going to keep the Venture X, at least for a year or so, because I actually get pretty good usage of the Priority Pass membership.

    Here is my update, I applied for the card and got approved but then it come through regular mail and there is no way to track it. I called if they could expedite it, they said no. The lady on the phone said they have mailed it but I am pretty sure she is lying because the capital one app says it has not been shipped yet.
    Also I don't have a virtual number either that can be generated in the app. Sigh.

    When I was trying to get the virtual card to work I had a rep on the phone and he walked me through how to set it up through the app. It wasn't hard at all so maybe if you call they can help you work it out.
