Capital One is offering a 75,000 mile bonus after you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. There is $95 annual fee.

Mine is up for renewal in few months.
I used to be able to get them to waive annual fee for the regular Venture card for several years in a row. Then last year they refused to do that. By then I had also gotten a Venture X card, so I canceled the regular Venture.

    Good for you! I do now the other reasons that denied our application except " too many credit cards" as shown in the rejection letter.

    I kept trying to get pre approval on this card but it kept pre approving me for the Venture X card. I figured since they pre approved me for the Venture X that they would approve me for this card no problem. I was wrong. They were not able to approve the Venture card today and to expect a letter explaining why not within 7-10 days.

    oops. see if you can benefit from venture x. but they changed few conditions such as $300 travel credit is applicable only if booked thru capital one travel portal.

    (side note: there was someone who was approval with 780 score, and has total of 3 credit cards)

    May be they are pushing high credit score people towards venture X and not venture

    I just told them that I have other credit cards with cashback that are zero annual fee and would they waive my fee? It almost always worked.

    I have 9 credit cards and just got approved for Venture X. But i have perfect score and paid off most of my credit cards before applied
