I have the C700 version of these, and they are all plagued with the same problems making them weak... the legs. The C700 wasn't as bad, but it took me several trips to different places to find a pair that wasn't defective.

When extended, if they are twisted at all (the black portion of the leg.) Then return it. Once any sort of load is placed upon then, the twisted leg portion will buckle, and boom. Down goes everything.

I've reached out to the company several times, and I never received a response.

The BORA has its own problems as well, but at least they respond to you (eventually).

I'm yet to find a good pair of manufactured saw horses that are collapsible. They all have some major flaw. The Toughbuilts also have some hardcore rusting issues since they just paint over they metals (they're supposedly powder coated, but it flakes off easily, and then rusts immediately.) So I highly recommend you lubricate them well. I use a dry lubricant so grease doesn't collect dirt/dust.

Good luck.
What kind of market are you imagining for your used plastic saw horses?
If you can go get them at Menards and do the rebate thing, their rebranded adjustable leg version is $38 AR: https://www.menards.com/main/tools/power-tool-accessories/tool-stands-saw-horses/masterforce-reg-adj... [menards.com]

He will sell them for $10 and he has to spend $10 in gas to deliver them

Previously had these, left on jobsite overnight and they were taken.. Thankfully!
Went with Dewalt version that clips together and can be carried as 1. Way more sturdy when setup, helpful to clamp work down, just a much better design imo. However this is still a good deal for the $.

Agreed. But adding adjustable legs doubles the price!!!
I bought the adjustable leg version a few years back and would definitely recommend them. Besides having adjust able leg height, they include the pivoting feet and they can accept a 4x4 as support instead of 2x4s (there is a limiter if you choose to use 2x4s)

Depending on brand and condition he will sell them for $10-$40, and the buyer will spend the gas money to come pick them up. Now he gets this sawhorse for next to nothing.. or for nothing, relatively speaking..

Thanks for this post!
I put two of the C500 saw horses in my zoro cart and a few hours later, they sent me a 15% off coupon. I pulled the trigger and paid $55.92, shipped, for two of them plus the sawhorse feet.

Who would want a single sawhorse? Makes no sense.

I actually like the plastic ones. Easy to fold away and put up. Always have 2 and they can manage anything for the average Joe.

I have 2x C700's and have had zero issues. Maybe I got lucky, but I highly recommend them based on my experience.
