Lowe's has DEWALT 20-volt Max 1/2-in Brushless Cordless Drill or 1/4" impact driver, (2-Batteries Included and Charger Included) for $99. Shipping to home is free or choose in store pickup.
The Atomic is Max. The XR is Max. They're all Max.
Max* simply refers to them using the fully charged voltage (20v) as opposed to the operating voltage (18v) that other tool companies use.
Somewhere in the fine print it says:
* Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18.
These are the absolutely lowest capacity battery you can get
if you have two batteries, and keep one charging while using the rest, you can probably get through most home projects without a lot of stress or anger

This is a great deal. I broke my battery charger and I'll just buy this instead as I need an impact driver. They are low capacity batteries but for home use it's absolutely fine
I got this last week. If it was just one low capacity battery then I would cry to me mommy but it's two so I'm giving my dad a hi-5.
While using one keep the other one charge. You can work pretty much the entire two using two batteries...of course it depends how much you use it so YMMV.

Buy top of the line if you're a pro, because you want fastest tool and fewer breakdowns on the job
Today's mid range was yesterday's top range tool!
