The YU's are also on sale for 229 on Amazon they are the same as these except they don't have optical or USB input so if you are ok with just RCA and Bluetooth then you can save an extra $70.

This with a cheap sub like the f12, jamo, dayton, etc would sound light year better than any $500 sound bar. I have the kanto tuk and svs sb1000 for 2.1 pc setup incredible.

To bad this doenst have built inactive crossover so they will be playing mostly full range

Have an audiolab m-one integrated Amp I would potentially use for these. Can I just use these as speakers off the m-one, but also use the rca sub off the speakers to integrate the sub with my m-one?

Yes! These will also probably sound better than most similarly priced sound bars, but won't have any "multichannel" functionality.

Most TVs have an optical audio output and these speakers have an optical input. It will give better sound quality than bluetooth, have no lag, and is more reliable.
How would 1 optical out from TV connect to each of these 2 speakers?

What kind of subwoofer can you pair with this? Any recommendations?
I have an 8inch powered Yamaha sub (NS-SW050BL) which I bought for $40 at auction which sounds great! If you are looking for a sub with a pass filter then this would not be the way to go. I use these with my computer for listening to LoFi and some light gaming and the setup works great.

All I see are the YU2's for $229. Where do you see the YU4's?

I have the YU4s paired with the Kanto sub 8 for PC. Great sounding, compact combo with tons of connectivity options.

You think the Sub 6 would be a good setup for a PC as well? Been debating between the 2

Ah, thank you. Shame they only come in black for this version but definitely a bargain if you don't need the preamp or the other connection types.

If you're asking about these particular speakers and ones like them it's because the signal being relayed from speaker A to speaker B is analog and USB-C is a digital cable.
Adding a digital to analog converter internally is probably less than $10 and you can have one cable for PD and signal. I guess this market is too small for innovation.

I definitely wish these had any kind of usb-in for computer usage, so I'd get a good DAC for the price.

But running a USB line between the left and right?.. Good DACs (which I assume these have) are more than $10, and also speaker wire is also one cable which does signal and power, and assures they are perfectly matched, and can be cut to any length, and also why?? I think you're the only one who wants this.

The optical goes to one speaker, and you run speaker wire (probably included) to the other speaker.

I have some LSR 305 I been debating getting rid of in favor of something with Bluetooth. I would get these but I am not sure I would like the sound compared to my 305

Yes, I have a set of YU5 on a TV right now.
