It looks like a recipe for disaster to have the mouse use a USB c connection and risk disconnects mid game session.

I owned this model and sent it back, but the cable connection was never an issue for me (also the battery in wireless mode lasts forever). I did not care for the excessive honeycombing (even compared other similarly designed models) and the mushy, barely there side/thumb buttons (my biggest annoyance with it).

You could do a lot worse than this for a sub-$30 wireless/bluetooth USB-C mouse though.

Am I missing something, it says its wired. The wireless one costs $60.

Whoops, you are correct. This is the wired version. I owned the wireless one with the same connector and design, so most of the same critiques still apply though (outside of the price/wireless).

As long as the cable isn't a very cheap cable, the amount of force to disconnect a USB C cable is surprisingly high. You could swing this mouse around by the cable and it probably wont disconnect.

Put a fan inside of it to keep the hand cool. So the holes have another purpose than just making it lighter.
