My guess is they're just clearing excess stock of the watch and phone. The Flip3 was announced/released in August of 2021 and there are a ton of rumors pointing to the Google Watch being released in the next couple months.
Thanks for sharing - It's still a great phone/watch combo.
1. bought Flip3 + Watch for 595
2. Traded in Flip3 for 800 for S22 without starting phone with sim in it. (*sim was never activated*)
3. Paid tax of 65 on 800 price of S22
4. Walked with S22 which I will return tomorrow
I just realized after coming home that I should have traded iPhone 8 for 300 while buying Flip3.
…..
I called Verizon to cancel service and they asked me to cancel with BB, BB says they can't do jt.
So
1. Is my service active, given I didn't activate sim on Verizon service?
2. Who should I call to cancel my service?
Get the phone number for the line (should have been emailed to you from best buy), setup online account access on Verizon website, chat them and ask to cancel the line. This assumes the line is actually active, may have to put SIM card in a random phone you have to receive a OTP. Verizon should not charge activation fee if you cancel within 3 days.

Thank you, I didn't get the phone number from Best Buy but I do have account number from Verizon. Going to try to cancel with account number first…

Did you buy Flip 3 through Verizon? I thought 300 for iPhone 8 was only the trade in Value when you purchase unlocked version.

What I learnt from other deals that i did from Verizon is, you need to call them and provide your phone number, you need to tell them to cancel the port in request and cancel an account, you do not need to activate the line in order to cancel the line but you MUST make sure they completely close out the account and cancel port in request or else you won't be able to port in any other numbers in future.
Anyone able to successfully cancel tmob/Verizon line after purchase without any fee... if so how..
Yup did both for Verizon and tmobile, just call 1-800 and tell them you do not need to port in and have them cancel the port in request and the line, none of them asked me for any fee. Tell them to completely close out the account.
I am trying to understand what do people do with SD card such that 256 GB of storage is not enough, not mocking just trying to understand what could you possible store on that phone.

I asked this question before, thought I would answer myself. The unlocked ATT version is actually unlocked and has esim version also, I threw in Verizon sim and it just worked, obviously sim needed to be activated by when i dialed 611 it went to verizon customer care.
