You sat your ass at home and got someone else to do your bidding, on top of that there is a discount.
People have to be paid yo hence fees.

You're also, not paying for gas to and from the store, and you save time that would be spent shopping and driving. Time is priceless in my opinion, so services like this are well worth the money without a discount and you're complaining about only saving 15-20 dollars when you're saving so much more.

I made a new account and did an Aldi order. Got $54 retail of laundry soaps and paper products for $27 after all taxes, fees, tips, etc. Not bad. And I didn't have to spend $5 to $10 gas to go to the store lol

Pure wackiness.

New account. Ordered some cat litter on sale from Safeway. Quantity 5. 2 were cancelled as OOS.

Original price after coupon was about $28 before tip.

I was charged $3.61.

I'm definitely not complaining. Now, if I get the $5 cashback, it's a make money.

You are assuming the shoppers get the inflated price difference but in reality, Instacart gets the majority of the profits. Can't you see? Instacart is taking the money while fueling the fight between the consumers and the shoppers. You are firing at the wrong people.

Pickup is faster and it's like a dollar in gas for most people and maybe 15 minutes in a car.

yes when i was 8 months pregnant during covid and they brought up accounts i compeletly forgot about from over a year ago! also if anyone in your house hold makes an account they ban them as well.
