Don't know what the deal is with this spray but sometimes it kills them fairly quick, other times they fly away. I stopped buying it. Raid wasp and hornet is expensive but I'm not as risky as I used to be. If I spray a wasp nest, I want them to fall and die asap. If you're trying this for the first time, start with a single wasp or some that aren't going to be able to get to you quickly.

Agreed... a strong spray of soapy water from a well pressurized pump up sprayer kills wasps just as quickly as these wasp sprays. One big squirt of dish soap per gallon of water in the sprayer and the soapy water covers the insects' spiracles (breathing holes) causing them to suffocate.

I probably wouldn't try this on a giant hanging out underground hornet nest though, and definitely not bees, which I would try to relocate.

This doesn't work if it's a ground nest.

edit: nvm you said that in your last paragraph ๐Ÿ™

LoL.

I make sure to dress in all black with a mask, and spray the nest at night from a distance. Don't want to take any chances with these buggers.

This stuff is great for the distance and it foams them up. I prefer it when higher up or larger nests for quick knock down. And since it has a stronger stream, it can work better than other options if there's a breeze and higher up
