Just use 4147 2022. Good luck.
Fair warning that WSJ requires you to call in to cancel, and you may sometimes wait on hold for long times to get through. One hack is to change your address to a CA address (CA law requires allowing online cancellation). Privacy.com is another option
Yeah, I feel like I wasted 5 seconds of my life entering that code. Why must life be so mundane and difficult?

Just went through this myself and as far as I can tell "no". The only way to cancel is to call so they can try to sell you a new subscription. I told the CSR that the only way I'll renew is for $4 per month and I was offered that, but only for 6 months and the thought of subjecting myself to repeat this process was enough for me to say no. Reminds me of Sirius XM.
609-627-1351 is the number for most states.

M-F 7a - 8p EST
As if it were still 1999.

yes, it seems like the Murdochs are making it tough to cancel.

if you live in most states, you have to talk to a telemarketer who will try to upsell you. This is the WSJ in 2023.

California, Delaware, some others have passed consumer protection legislation so that you can cancel with a click. See:

feck the WSJ. As someone said, it's marginally better than USA Today (in some subjects). Lots of tabloid-style fluff, and the comments are like something out of the John Birch society. Total disappointment with this crap journalism.

I looked around my account but I couldn't find a way to tell WSJ not to renew my subscription after a year. Is there a way to do that online?
just canceled by phone, but refused to give my street address which they said was needed for "security". BS.

They're just trying to Hoover up as much data as they can so they can make money from selling information to marketers. Anyone who doesn't believe that is a dupe. I refused.

I did give them my "membership number", my email address used, and my name (which I wish I didn't).

What other media outlet requires this rigmarol?. F the WSJ and Dow Jones Corpse.

I spoke to wsj and they said they have no control to cancel since it is managed by press reader the third party. Press reader told they have no control either since it was bought directly on wsj website. I am made to run in circles and no one is able to cancel the renewal Frown

yes, it's pathetic. Dow Jones Corp. bites
I'm still not sure if I'll be billed again. In the "Customer Care" tab https://customercenter.wsj.com/su...9909de9f82 it now says in red "Subscription ending soon".

If I am billed, I'll contest it with my credit card company.

My free subscription expired!LMAO

They did not attempt to charge me(I don't think I ever gave them my credit card in any case).

It was nice for being free, and I would do it again laugh out loud but didn't really seem worth paying more than a nominal amount for.

They have a new deal of $0.50 per week (billed every 4 weeks) for all access digital plus the print version delivered every Saturday if you want it. Promo price is good for one year.
