This model has the highest torque (8.3 ft/lbs.) in their lineup and the multi-blade cutting system.

I really like my EGO mower. I've had it a little over 2 years and use it all the time. I also have the hedge trimmer, weed eater and leaf blower. The mower and hedge trimmers are great. The head on the weedeater completely broke off, it looks like they are using sub-par plastics. I ordered a replacement head but it didn't fit and seems to be because EGO changes their models frequently. I'm now looking for an aftermarket generic trimmer head. The leaf blower stopped working after 4 uses about a year ago. I've struggled to get EGO to address this. It's hard to recommend EGO mowers when the other products in their ecosystem that use the same batteries are such low quality.

FYI the LM2150SP is identical to the LM2156SP, except it comes without the battery. I got it with the battery, and have mower my lawn with both it and my stepfather LM2135SP (same as LM2130SP), which is one model older. They're extremely similar, but mine has been able to torque through tougher challenges. The 2135 and my old Honda gas mower always seemed to bog down every time I passed through thicker parts of my lawn, at least when there was moisture or the grass was long and tough. My 2156 seems to chop through it much better, although it still stops under the toughest loads on rare occasion. Otherwise it cuts perfectly. Clean, precise. My only gripe is a small one: the way I have to hold the self-propel control bar is slightly uncomfortable.

Whether fhe 2150 series is worth the price premium over the 2130 series probably depends on how much power you typically need to mow.

Anyway, this is a good model. FWIW I bought mine for a little under $650 using Lowes gift cards (bought using slickdeals for 90 cents on the dollar) and my veteran discount. It's been worth it, especially considering the environmental difference.
