They are exclusive deals posted on here, think of Best Buy or Target exclusives.

People constantly complain they are not deals but then never post or advise where you can get the same product for less.

It's just from people with a hidden agenda against Klipsch/Iconian/Adorama,

These are deals from an authorized dealer for a great price.
This is a great center channel speaker for a great price. I can actually understand dialogue in movies now with it.
I have the RP-504C and I LOVE it. However, take the measurements before ordering. These things are huge =)

I ordered this 404C for $240. It's $100 cheaper than any other listing I could find. The comments here have convinced me to cancel my order. I have a Klipsch center channel now with two 5.25" woofers. This one has four 4" woofers. It is better suited for small to medium sized rooms. The 504c has four 5.25" woofers. It is better for larger rooms. My media room is large. I'm going to hold off until the 504C goes on sale. It's been on-sale for as low as $299. It's worth $60 more. I think I'd be disappointed with the 404C. I have an 11.2 surround sound system. All my Klipsch fronts and wides have dual 8" woofers. I don't think these little 4" woofers would be a good match.
I can't speak to the 404c but I have the 504c paired with the RP-600M for the LCR. Love the setup. I didn't realize how big the 504c was when I purchased it so plan ahead!

Can this be paired with an older Klipsch Reference series fronts, RF-82II to be exact? I have the matching center for them but I feel it's lacking.
Technically? Yes, it can. The general rule of thumb when matching speakers is to use timbre matched models from the same series that are designed to be together. However, the next part of that rule is that if you cannot match speakers of the same series, match them with the same brand. The idea behind that being that many brands will have stereotypical sound profiles that many of their products are designed to exhibit. You do have to be careful when doing this because results can vary wildly using this method. For example, Klipsch tends to have a bright sound profile across most of its speakers which can help make them a bit easier to pair but has also garnered a lot of criticism over the years. Their latest Reference Premiere lineup is said to be a more neutral sound profile that is more respected in the audiophile world but may not pair well with older designs that still exhibit that brighter sound profile.
You can look at specs for each speaker to tell some of the story of how it will work but other factors that can impact your results would be things like the space these speakers will be used in and what you will be driving them with/how much control you have over each individual speaker to tweak their output in settings to help match them up. Most AVRs will have an auto-calibration feature that you can use first to help the speakers balance out. Then, if it still sounds a bit off, you can manually tweak levels until it sounds best to your ears. Again, all of that is depending on what the capabilities of each speaker models are to be as closely matched as possible.
Hope my ramblings made sense and help a little

Ended up buying this 404c center and it's pretty good. I highly recommend some advice I came across on avsforum: Configure the center speaker on your receiver as a "Small" speaker so it won't send low frequencies to it which would only distort dialogue.

Also set the crossover to at least 80 or even higher to further prevent low frequencies from being sent to it.

Is this better than the JBL 520c?

I bought a 5.1 JBL set of speakers including the 590 towers and 530 bookshelves, although I might have to get rid of the 590s due to their size.

I also got the 520c center channel speaker but people on Reddit say it's underpowered and not very good. Should I return it and get this?
