Yeah, so these Samsung mail ins are just for the screen replacement. I work at a UbreakiFix, and the kits we get are screen + frame of device + battery. I'm assuming a Fold they're only going to replace with a new frame and battery, not sure if they even do just screen repairs for the Folds and Flips due to design.

I am going thru entire process and it only is coming up as $100 plus tax. Samsung support does not help at all either. How do I only pay $49.99 instead of $100+ tax??

The screen/front glass/digitizer is one piece of item, when it comes to repairs. When they replace the front glass for you, the entire digitizer/screen or whatever you want to call it got replaced. Therefore, any displaying issue that has to do with the display itself (most cases) would be gone.

Any one knows how much time you have to prepare mailing after submitting request? I know the promotion runs through 06/27. If I successfully submit the repair request and pay before deadline, will I get extra days to prepare the shipping? I am currently out of town and won't be back until 07/04, just one week after the promotion. And I need to use phone every day until I return home.

You need to make sure that you can register it on Samsung account. I have a trouble register the one I got from Canada. It's not allowed me to register.

That's kind of what I figured. I beat up my phones, they don't hold the value like they used to and still can get trade in value. Could resell or keep as a backup. Just wondering if a "demolished screen" counts as "cracked" lol. Never used the service before. I guess so.

I'm wondering if I have to include the charger and cable. That is what the printout says, but I doubt they would send it back. Anyone with experience with this and whether we have to do that?

I sent my s8+ with cracked screen on June 13 as they said reparir cost will be $74.69. Today I got a text regarding to pay amount due with calling samsung so I called them and repair senter rep saying there will be a price change but she didn't know how much at the moment and saying will call me back. hope they are not doing any funny business....
