I bought a $30 Netflix and $25 Home Depot gift card, which are rarely discounted. I then used the $10 coupon to buy groceries, which I needed anyway.

Before you purchase a "happy gift card" you may want to check around. There are numerous complaints about this company.
This isn't a knock on Kroger or other gift cards. Ther issue is specific to "happy cards". It's a specific brand.
