Every time I see a C1 post I think about missing out in the Target deal
Big sales are coming soon on TVs and other stay at home favorites. The stores have way too much inventory now. Wait it out, everyone. Better deals are coming.

These TVs are being put on sales because they need the space to put the new C2s on the shelves. If you're waiting for Black Friday to pick one up, they will all be gone. 4th of July is stretching it already.

Same! Possible for price adjustment?
I know reading is no longer fundamental,,but costco has a 30 day price adjustment policy.

Does the TV have to be purchased online to get the GC, streaming credit, and warranty? Or can it be purchased in store for the same price and same extras?

So I know I want this size and model (LG C1 65"). My normal mind says wait till 4th of July sales, or if I'm patient enough to wait for sales around Black Friday. Based upon last Black Friday, and the fact that the deals were terrible last year, I have this sneaking suspicion this panel will not go much lower. Anyone have a crystal ball that can tell me that it won't go much lower and that I should just buy it now cause like multiple YouTubers say, it's going to be harder to get later in the year too? Thanks lol!
These will not be available by novenber,,, you might get a deal on a C2,,,at hundreds more,,for no appreciable performance differences.

Too much of a hassle for me. My nearest costco is 1.5 hours.
Lets not mention the fundamental moral dilemma of frauduntly returning a fully functional purchase for minor financial gains.

Not meaningless at all - the much cheaper lgc1 is a much better tv.

How does the LG C1 compare to the new Samsung S95B?
+ $1400 more in price. S95B is better but not worth the price difference.

Yes, the price adjustment is 30 days but the return window is also 90 days. Costco would rather do a price adjustment then to process a return,

C2 does have several differences, probably the biggest being the Evo panel. And having full 48gbps HDMI ports is really nice as well. They gimped the C1 with only 40gbps ports. The brightness may be at most a 20% difference, but when the C3 comes out, there won't be a big difference in C2 and C3, but there will be in C1 and C3.

Probably not a big deal for everyone, but I went with the C2. If I'm going to be spending a few grand on a TV, I'd rather not look back in a year and wish I had spent a bit more to get the newest model.

Have C1 55 inch and Sony A80J 65. I have to say the color calibration of C1 is horrible, even after I followed some YouTube guide, it is still very blue. Go and get Sony A80J.
After using the smart/magic remote of LG B8 with pointer capabilities, I'm finding it hard to go for a different brand of TV now. Does Sony have anything similar?

Really I hate the pointer. Specifically I hate that to activate the pointer is also the OK button so if you don't do a perfect press without scrolling it turns on. It would be great if it wasn't

It sure feels like retailers and manufacturers either know something or are spooked by an incoming pullback in consumer spending and recession. I don't recall seeing such good prices on tv's in a very long time. I'm going to stand back and watch them fall over each other lowering prices. I say hold boys its time to pay the piper on the past 3 years of the free money ride.

Any thoughts On 65 inch A1 excellent condition for $750. It was a return and not a store demo model.
If you don't care about gaming then 100% you should jump on it

The Samsung S95B IS AN OLED...and it is the BEST OLED on the planet, currently. Don't make blanket statements and misinform others if you don't have a clue.
