Sorry but why is it a crappy tv? Is there any other 4k 120hz tv at this price?
What makes it a crappy tv? Any reviews to back that up?
I'm sure you are trolling. I have this tv and it its great for the price. You do have to update the firmware day one. The picture was grainier than normal on YouTube until I updated it but the 4k content was gorgeous for an LED. To say it's crappy is very misleading. If you were expecting an oled or qled that cost much more thats on you.

I will prefer this Hisense TV over LG on any given day.

Hisense has come a long way to be part of Living room / Family room in US.

Plus, Roku TV OS is very stable, user friendly and smooth.

This TV isn't good enough for the maids quarters. You would be laughed at hanging this in the guest house.
I tried to hang this tv up in the dogs miniature house, and even he didn't want to watch it. He snubbed me and now lives with brad Pitt.

What does the ARC HDMI port mean for a user with multiple inputs? Plan is to get a Sonos system to output audio through for everything, including PS5 and AppleTV.

Just reminder to buy a Google TV or Nvidia Shield to go with it. Or Apple TV if you're into that system.

Better overall compatibility and future proof

I have a 55inch c8 and considering this is native 120hz with 2.1 it is rather tempting for gaming. I'm not talking competitive, lose your mind gaming on call of duty but for games like gears. Not sure why people are ripping this when it's basically $500

Is there a 55" of this same model on sale? At least I can fit that one in my car, 😅
There is a 58" Samsung on sale starting Wed. Not 120hz though.

120Hz refresh rate is my main driving factor to pull the trigger. Thanks for trying, but I'll have to pass that up.

I did not rip it. I stated that it is quite thick. Got a nice 27 thumbs down and counting. Just wanted to point out that this doesn't have a slim profile. I think it's a great value for a gamer and/or someone looking for a budget 120hz TV. My personal preference should not be a deciding factor in someone else's choice. This is over twice as thick as my 7100 series Samsung from 2012.

Doesn't seem to have Ethernet Lan port for connecting to internet.
Bought a Serif and it didn't have one. Had to send it back.

Just curious, did you send back Fedex? Does Samsung pay for return shipping? Did you like the Serif otherwise?

I tried to see that tv in person. Nowhere to be found at best buy. And it's got some weird things about it. On paper the 550ku should be incredible. But there's little to be heard or found about it
The M550ku is brand new that's why. Saw the 55 inch at Best Buy. The picture looked ok until you looked at peoples skin. It was like this artifact thing going on and their skin tone didn't look right. Hard to explain. Could have been the connection they used but didn't notice it on other tvs next to it. The 65 inch was scored low by Consumer Reports, 57 out of 100. They did say it had very good HD and UHD picture quality though. The cheapest new TV they recommended at 65 inches was the Lg Nano 90. Beach Camera through Walmart has it for $800 right now. Or used the 65 inch Sony X90J can be found for $700. But it has a narrow viewing angle. I have the 55 inch and the pic is beautiful. Could use a sound bar though.

ARC stands for audio return channel. That way you can have audio going in or out of that HDMI port. Pretty much every TV has one now but it is very important for some applications. For instance if you have everything running into your sound bar you only need one HDMI to your sound bar for sound and TV picture and your sound bar will feed audio to your TV as well and your TV can send The sound bar audio.

Don't know about the newer LG but the ones I bought from Costco 5 yrs ago sucks. Lg's YouTube app sucks balls, can never stream and is slower than molasses. Can't clear the cache to reset it either. And both WiFi and Ethernet can only do 10mbps Max! What the f..

Not buying a LG again. Will go back to Samsung

They massively improved the processing power since then. My 2015 Lg tv's smart stuff was useless too. Just had the 65 inch Nano 75 and it worked pretty good.
