I agree that that would be a pretty big fault for it, but from what I read, acacia wood is good for outdoor furniture use and water resistance. You could probably just hit it with some wood/deck sealer if you were worried though

Bought one on impulse because it really does seem to be priced between $300 - $500 elsewhere and we recently moved and our backyard is a clean slate, so this will come in handy once things get under way out back.

I'll probably stain this a deep cherry red Smilie

Thanks, at Home Depot for 388 dollars. Reviews there say finish fades quickly and warps. Still seems like a great day and add some finish to it regularly.
