So, perhaps break out the ruler or see if you have a piece of luggage, a box, literally anything with similar dimensions and see if it fits.

That would be a negative on the ice.
Mine was indoors, in an air conditioned room, and no ice, just water 18 hours later.
And to answer those questions? Everything I put in the cooler was precooled, except a jar of pickles. Shrimp was frozen when put in, and I ended up throwing it away because I didn't like the smell or look of them 30 hours later.
Returning this one.
