Right now on Eneba, you can purchase a 3-month Xbox Live Gold digital code for $5.71. This is a global code, meaning no VPN needed for use in the U.S. If you're a Game Pass Ultimate member, you can redeem for 50 days of Ultimate (I just did that with my account).

Nothing special is needed, after purchasing redeem here [microsoft.com]; It will automatically give you 3 months of Gold, or 50 days of Ultimate when you redeem. Again, no special steps needed.

I bought four keys and the first two were the 16 digit keys instead of 25 digits. So I submitted tickets for those two ~1am Sunday morning. The other two I did the standard refund without having revealed them and those two unrevealed codes got refunded the same day.
EGAME TRADING were my bad codes; I bought two more from GETPLAY and those were okay.

I was pretty thorough in thr screenshots I attached with my PayPal dispute. I included a screenshot of my invoice, a screenshot of each code giving me an error on the redeem.microsoft page, and a screenshot of enebas return policy.
Edit:
They granted me a full refund. At this point I'm not sure if I want to gamble on possible bad or used keys, ESPECIALLY since I can't use the 10PAYPAL code even if I did want to reorder.
