In years of Slickdeals I have never qualified for one any of these good audible offers. Is it truly random or is there anything folks do to improve their odds of getting these deals?

make 20 alt accounts with different emails, beyond that the random 1% posting ignores the millions that did not get the offer.

In terms of listening satisfaction, I totally agree.

For those who want to remain members but not pay $15/mo, they are probably still offering their "silver" membership for $7/mo. You only get a free credit every other month and you don't get some of their freebies, but this is perfect for those of us who have audiobooks piling up in our library faster than we can listen to them.

I didn't know this existed until I went to cancel, and then they told me about it. I was on that for a few years.

Didn't work for former Audible member in the US. Canceled Audible in Dec 2021, but no promo applied when I tried to use this offer. Hoping they'll entice me back soon.

I've always wondered if the authors get screwed with deals like this or if aubidle gives the author a reduced % or just eats the whole normal revenue split.
