shows up as Sponsored item on Amazon search...fair bet it's being promoted here as well.

Just adding efferdant denture cleaner goes on a much better sale than this fairly often. I think last time I got 90 tablets for a few bucks. I use it for my night guards and it's great.

This isn't a ship for that particular cleaner. However, denture cleaner can be much cheaper.

I just brushed mine with a toothbrush and toothpaste when I was a kid. Soak in a glass of mouthwash every now and then if necessary.

You shouldn't clean your retainer with a toothbrush - it can create tiny scratches that bacteria will live in.

I agree with the previous posters who recommend using denture cleaner - I just use generic denture cleaner tablets every day to clean my retainers.

I can't recommend one of these ultrasonic cleaners enough. After starting Invisalign and never really feeling like my retainers got clean, I got one and never looked back. Once every week or two I'll also toss in a part of a cleaning tablet just for good measure.

yeah this is not a good price as I usually just get denture cleaner tablets whichever brand is on sale for my overnight mouth guard.

You shouldn't use toothpaste. Every dentist I've had for the last 30 yrs has told me that it's to abrasive; even Colgate doesn't recommend using it. Most have recommended liquid soap (obviously unscented/colored; trust me, dawn doesn't taste good) with an occasional denture cleaner.
