Lots of not so great reviews on Newegg regarding life span of the drive as well as incompatibility with many motherboards unless you remove the rather large included heat sink. I know that typically only the most satisfied and upset customers leave reviews so I never know how much weight to actually give to reviews 🤷🏻

Not hard.. Ignore the 1 stars and ignore the 5 stars for a more accurate picture.

Lol probably doesn't help with this item since there's not enough reviews to begin with. But that's with any product.

Endurance from Gigabytes website states 1800TBW for the 1TB model. Fairly good, for the price it's a good deal.

I wouldn't get anything other than motherboards from Gigabyte. For SSDs it has to be either Samsung or Hynix.

Decent TBW, but MSI isn't known for having great warranty service if it does fail.

Would be a good deal if it wasn't gigabyte. Their quality has really gone downhill the last few years. Reviews on these are not so good.

If you think their motherboards are bad, try their large format displays.

Soon they'll start making kitchen appliances just to lower their bar even more.

Technically yes but since this has heatsink in both sides, your laptop should have enough thickness to accommodate it.

It's very unlikely that the heatsink will fit in your laptop.

You'll save about $15-20 if you find a model with a thinner heatsink or no heatsink at all.

Just had my Aorus 1 TB gen4 drive die last week after only one year of general office use. Won't be using the warranty replacement as my OS drive......
