Is this a deal? I have no idea what First Aid kits go for....nevermind I see the savings now. Thanks!

Brand: First Aid Only

I agree with the top review:
Box is the only value here; Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2020; Style: Aid Kit Verified Purchase
Consider this an $11 investment in starting your own kit vs. being able to use this in any serious emergency. Plastic insert that holds items in orderly way makes the box look fuller than it is = lots of 1 cent items like alcohol swabs, iodine pads; few actual bandages, tape ,or specialty items such as salve or eye cup,. Silly plastic tweezers, scissors barely work. But the box was great, and has a solid clasp and convenient handle for home storage on a hook (not in busy situations where it might break)! I took the remaining supplies from an older, better kit I bought 15 years ago and filled it up.

You're paying a premium for a box. The items in it are cheap. Might be worthwhile for a short float trip since the case claims to be waterproof.
If you're required to have this for an OSHA requirement, cool. Do it. This is a decent price.
But it's more checking a box so you don't get fined than actually being prepared for much of anything. Items expire after about 2 years per reviews/product questions

Yeah you made some valid points. I went ahead and purchased to have in my truck I figure the case makes it worthwhile and bandages can be replaced with better quality if needed, for me its one of those things where if you are camping etc and kids trip and fall scrapes that sort of thing a trip to the convenience store will cost double or more easily.
