Bought it for $65 back in April. Without the screen. Seems like a good deal. Temper your expectation and you'll be happy with it. It's worth the $65, but not the inflated MSRP.

Bought it for $65 without the screen.
It's dim. unbearably dim, even in a light controlled environment
the brightness can't compare to my optoma dv10 2005 project that hasn't had it's bulb changed.

It's hard to focus too, even being slightly off axis, you are not going to get edge to edge clarity

on the plus side, the fan is quiet, the audio is loud, and it's a sealed system. I just cant imagine using this outside at any point, so the saled system is kind of useless.

If I could go back in time I would not pick this up, it reminds me of those toy project from a few years back, but with more bells and whistles and res

It's a junk, Stay away from this. Bought it couple of weeks ago. It's dim, even in a dark basement. You can't even see the real colors even if you sit 2 feet from the screen. Do not get fooled by the stock pictures. Buy a branded projector and save your money

Beware of their shitty return policy. Because this item is a sale item it explicitly says you must pay for your own shipping even when it had a quality issue, and theres a 10 percent restocking fee.

I have this projector and the no keystone and the brightness sucks. The contrast is also so bad even if you are watching in extreme dark but your show has a dark scene, you will just see large boxes of grays and blacks which is annoying.

Do yourself a favor and atleast buy projectors on amazon above 150$ with better ANSI Lumens and contrast ratio. I'd rather take a brighter 720p projector than this

Got it for the bedroom. It's amazing for me. Nice resolution and good brightness for night movies.

I have this and HD39HDR, this one this for outdoor beater. This cheap protector is fine for dark environments, of course can't compared to my 800dollar projector.

I was one of the people that bought this when it went on sale for this price about a few weeks ago. I knew it would be 50/50 but I am satisfied with it.

Here's what you NEED to know: No Keystone, so the unit has to be pretty straight on.
It may not be the brightest, but I hooked up a Roku to this and sit outside at night watching on a 120" projector for $50 off Amazon and have had multiple movie nights already with the kid. So it's already paid for itself honestly. Not the brightest but I don't get people saying that it won't work in the dark. It works just fine. Not THE brightest, but you can adjust contrast and brightness just fine. The internal speaker is ok, but I prefer a simple output to a bigger speaker.

I got this for a halloween project to cast on a semi-transparent screen for some awesome ghostly effects, and I think it'll do the trick fine.

This is NOT a high end projector, so don't expect anything fancy, but for this price, I feel like replacing the bulb is gonna cost more, so I'm actually picking up a second one cuz I'm sure this will break eventually...but at this price, I can get one as a backup...then if I'm really into projectors later, can upgrade to the ones mentioned by others. So definitely a beginner projector. NO keystone is the most annoying.

Get a flat metal projector plate and use a camera stand (don't buy their brand as it's flimsy and small and costs more), a 120" projector screen, and output to a speaker with a 3.5mm input and you should be good for an easy movie night out back.

Don't try to compare to a higher end model, but for this price, it's really not bad...

Bought for my bedroom to unwind with a movie or TV show AT NIGHT, and for $65 I'm 100% satisfied with it for my use case. It's clear and sharp, plenty bright for nighttime use (DON'T bother during the day), and speaker is decent. Warning: a Fire Stick will NOT plug in due to the HDMI port's proximity to the power cable, so factor in another $5-10 for a female-male HDMI extension cable. Poor design choices aside, also realize you will have a bit of vignetting blur at the edges and NO keystone correction. But again, all that being said, I'm still 100% good with the $65 I spent.

I could not get this to cast. UI is very basic. Ended up connecting a Chromecast. More or less a toy... Don't take it seriously.

People who are staying this is useless even in a light controlled room either haven't tried it or are being disingenuous. This was a month or so ago, but this roughly 120" on a textured wall. Plenty good enough for viewing. Don't expect quality of a $800 projector though.

How far away does the projector need to be for 120"? How high up compared to where the top of the screen would be?
