The watch learns your habits and then tweaks after a few days of usage. Right out of the gate it is lasting 1.5 days. Which is not bad considering my Watch Active 2 would do about the same.

Full disclosure my use of the watch is for diabetes glucose monitoring, so the display is always on and talking to my phone every 5 minutes to get data.

I keep seeing posts about the poor battery life. I purchased a Samsung gen1 watch and it goes a good 3-4 days between charging

Exactly the reason why I want to buy a galaxy watch, I have an apple watch which is not compatible with my S22 from the Google FI deal, I have to pair with with my wife's iphone or my work iphone.

Hope one day there is no barrier between all these electronics...

The Lte version is probably what people are referring to when they complain about battery life. But I don't mind charging lte version more often. The main reason to have a smart watch for me is lte so I'm not constantly tethered to my phone.

Sleep tracking on the watch 4 is pretty consistent with another sleep tracking device I have. And the heart rate monitoring is also almost exactly matching a chest strap when I'm exercising. Very impressed.

Thanks for the information. That sounds like a very interesting use case. I have heard that Samsung has ways of enabling the monitoring of blood pressure, but that this is disabled in the United States. I am somewhat tech-savvy but don't want to fuss with things too much.

Would you happen to know if I could get a somewhat reliable ongoing read of blood pressure with this watch?

That's clever. Yeah, I have a Samsung Watch 3 that I was hoping to trade in to upgrade to a Watch 4, but with sufficient trade-in value it may still be a good idea.

Yes, i have mine on power save mode all the time. I have my phone with my all the time so the features it turns off doesn't bother me. Sorry for the confusion but i charge my watch every 4 days.

It's like a rose gold in my opinion but they sell case/covers on Amazon cheap to change the color.
