My last 3 orders (separate sales/orders) got cancelled by them without any notification or anything. When items are out of stock and they can't fulfill, orders just go into limbo status and you don't find out until you contact customer service.
Horrible quality control with this brand lately...
They sold out a few years ago. New ownership is cutting quality while riding on a trusted name, happens all the time. And I agree, trash quality lately.
I have old park aves that are super comfortable. My new ones aren't breaking in after months of wearing and the leather is still super stiff. Definitely different quality than before.

Ok so I'm looking for double monk dress shoes. Bought Aldo ones and only lasted about a year. Which do you guys recommend for value/quality?
How much are you willing to spend? If you want cheap, you could pick up a brand like Gordon rush or Cole haan at a discount store like Nordstrom rack and get a lot of value out of them. I got a pair of black double monk GR from the rack a few years back that I still use. If you're willing to spend a little more than AE retail - Carmina or Alden. If you're willing to spend a lot, there are brands like Vass, john lobb, and Edward green. I took a gamble and bought this off eBay. Seller was very responsive about answering my questions and said they'll slightly alter shoe measurements based on my own for free even. I'll see how they are in two weeks: https://www.ebay.com/itm/30350082...media=COPY
The quality is very poor now. With good leather, crafting is horrible. It looks great on the feet, but very uncomfortable. Not as good as cheap machine made shoes.
Says deal ended yesterday when entering code. Agree, quality is much worse these days as usual when these private equity bros buy companies and cut costs
