I guess they want to give folks the illusion of a major deal by jacking up the price to an asinine price and dropping it to a normal price to fool the ignorant.. Oldest trick in the book..

The environmental impact of bottling, packaging, shipping, etc. of WATER all around the country is insane. There is a time and place for bottled water (i.e. you're tailgating with a lot of people) but for ordinary use it's just awful.
If someone going to OD wants to check the regular store price for water -- right now website shows $5.49 after pickup discount at my store (guessing regular store price is probably around $5-$7 depending on location)
