Printer prices have skyrocketed lately. This is a great deal if you can use rewards.
Rewards spending Tip: Price Matching with local competitors and Amazon is accepted in stores. So one way to use them is for household items sold by other stores as Walmart, Target, etc. This comes in handy for spending rewards. Another thing you can buy with rewards is stamps, clearance items.

- Usually rewards post within 2-3 weekdays.
- You can use rewards to buy printers. Be aware of using rewards on items earning rewards. Read about that in the OP. If you use rewards, coupons, price matching, etc, your earned rewards will be reduced to being based on actual out-of-pocket spending before taxes, and shipping.
So had you bought one on this deal, gotten rewards in time to buy another during this same deal, you would only get 50% back on whatever you spend out of your pocket on the 2nd one.How long does it take for the rewards to hit your account? 1 - 2 days, usually the day after the order gets processed .
Can I buy a second printer with the rewards from the first? There will be 2 problems with doing this:
1) You don't earn rewards on purchases paid with rewards. So if you buy 1 printer for $250 and get $125 in rewards and then buy a second printer for $250 and pay with $125 in rewards and the other $125 on your credit card you will only earn 50% of the $125 you paid with your credit card on the second printer, so on the second printer you will only get $62.50 in rewards.
2) In the past, when office depot has a limit of 2 on a rewards offer, you had to order the 2 in one transaction. If you ordered 1 and then ordered another one the next day, they only give you rewards on the first one. This happened to me around a year ago, so I don't know if it is still the same now.
You can recycle up to 10 carts per month to get $2 in rewards per cartridge. You must spend $10+ in qualified purchases in the same month out-of-pocket to qualify.
