Generally tablets aren't designed to work with a mouse and my Samsung S7+ recognizes it as a keyboard, not a mouse. I can use it for point and click, and the scroll wheel works, but the right button does NOT.
Edit: Wanted to add: I got this 2 years ago and have used it daily with no problems. I bought a spare one a year ago as a back up for when the mouse develops the dreaded double click / self release problem but it hasn't happened (yet).
This is my favorite mouse, it started having issues where it was not clicking correctly as others have mentioned. I took it apart and cleaned it with contact cleaner, and it works great again. I may buy one for a backup at this price. I have seen this mouse sold under multiple names as others are noting as well.
It's been flawless for me. Only downside, I think, is that the mouse isn't active until Windows boots up. So you can't use it to navigate the BIOS screens.
OTOH, this could be a perfect solution for a lot of corporate PC's that have disabled USB ports. USB is apparently a huge security risk.
I've worked at defense contractors and private tech companies; I've never seen an IT policy entirely disable USB ports outside of the top secret labs. Usually they're set up to accept USB input, but disable/report attempted writes to USB devices
The location of the device switching is a plus for me. I can quickly switch between devices without having to pick up and press a button on the bottom of the mouse.
Great price for this mouse and is small enough to be portable.
I currently use a M720 + MX Keys. The MX Master is way better built than the M720. I would like to have a MX Master mouse but the fact that the device switch is underneath on the master whereas it is on top (side) for the M720 is what's keeping me from buying. Logitech are you listening?
Bought this during the early stage of pandemic and not even 12 months later and the Bluetooth is lagging every few seconds.
its those shitty winblows updates that MS forces upon everyone. they mess everything up. had the same issues and more. trim on my nvme started to have some serious issues. every app was lagging bigtime. ended up downloading an updated iso of winblows and did a clean install after backing everything up. even after i downloaded the latest iso, there were still a plethora of windows updates. you would think the stupids at microsoft would have included all current updates into the iso instead of wasting everyone's time.

If Logitech is listening, I hope they keep it on the bottom. Why take up space on top of the mouse when it takes less than a second to turn mouse over and click a button?

What about for people like me that switch back and forth 30+ times a day on multiple monitors, which is the reason I bought a keyboard+mouse that supported multiple devices. You really expect me to flip over a mouse dozens of times a day? If I was doing that once a day..no problem.

There are a lot of reasons why you might be having this issue. It could be low battery, distance from the computer, interference from something and it might be there is some conflicting or corrupt driver in the PC. I would forget and re-learn the mouse after you confirm that the Bluetooth drivers are up to date. I have 3 of thes mice at home and at work....connected to different devices....and they never have an issue with connection. I use the bluetooth connection only. I suppose it is possible to have a bad mouse. But if it is under a year, you should still be able to exchange it.
