I bought a Flip 5 few days ago as part of Woot deal for $75… it is worth to get this one for additional $$ for better sound and quality?

If you listen to bass heavy music the Charge is well worth the extra green.

Anyone have experience using this with an outdoor movie/projector setup? I've tried a couple other brands (JBL, HK) and they've had horrible sync issues, with BT audio lagging ~2-3 seconds behind the video.

I have an older BT speaker that doesn't have the same sync issue (Dewalt) but it's not loud enough.

You may need to plug directly into your speaker

Thanks, yeah that is an option, but if I did that I may as well just use regular (non-BT) speakers. Also I'm not sure you can sync multiple speakers for stereo audio when using a wired source.

I just bought a JBL charge 4 specifically for my outdoor projector. It has aux input and now it just works. Unfortunately JBL has removed aux inputs from most of their newer models. I have a flip 6 that is great but its pure bluetooth.

If you want eight hours more battery life, and the ability to charge up your mobile or tablet when out and about, the Charge 5 is for you.
